  1. Very well written book and sometimes laugh-out-loud funny.

  2. I'm about to buy this book & I usually wait till something is out of date & on special ! I remember reading him in the `80's & found him most agreeable.

  3. Jeff’s rambling, cynical writing style is lifted by a sharp, intellectual humour – a laugh at the futility of everyday existence – quite possibly an essential ingredient if your mode of transport (as once was Fereday’s) is an Eastern Block MZ250 ETZ two stroke.
